Convert your existing Quella to a full electric bike by simply upgrading your rear wheel.
Since launching in 2019 and being voted best e-bike by The Strategist magazine, Quella’s e-bike has been in huge demand with a long waiting list throughout the Covid pandemic and we have not been able to offer an e-wheel upgrade due to demand for new bikes.
Finally, we now have enough stock to be able to offer this e-wheel upgrade for the first time.  We can build your wheel to match your existing bike wheel colour and it is simply a case of swapping the wheel over to give you full e-bike capability.  The wheel connects to the handlebar mounted remote and the app on your smartphone with bluetooth so there are no cables to fit.  The charging point is in the bikes hub so, again, no cables and no fiddly installation.
Unlike any other e-bike, the battery and the motor are both built into the hub meaning no cumbersome battery hidden in the tubing and an industry leading total bike weight of 14.5kgs, no e-bike is lighter!
Once fitted, the hub gives pedal assist up to 25kmh and will give a maximum range of 60kms.  The hub offers eco or boost mode via the Bit Ride app on your phone or the handlebar remote.  Other features include an in-built tamper alarm that will alert you if someone is attempting to steal your bike, remote wheel locking, power level report, speed, and distance covered.

FAQ

  • The frame spacing of your bike is most likely 130mm on the frame and 100mm on the forks. Our wheels are 120mm spacing.

  • You can fit up to a 700 x 32c tyre.

  • You will need a 700c tube with a 60mm Presta value, the tube should also be able to inflate to your tyres width. For instance if your tyre is a 700c x 25 you will need that size tube.

  • You’ll need a 15mm spanner to fit the wheels and the spoke tension will need checking from time to time. Always check your tyre pressure and wear of the tread.

All Quella Bicycle frames and forks are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for a set period. This period is 12 months for all Quella brand complete bikes and frame sets. Warranty also includes coverage on bicycle components for sixty days from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferable. Proof of purchase may be required.
